Having not had a home tie in either of the domestic cup competitions since January 2023, it is certainly an occasion to look forward to for Aber, as the team look to make the semi-finals of the competition for only the third time.
Pontypridd United are the only remaining Tier 2 side left in the cup, having defeated Ammanford, Penybont, and Johnstown, to set up Sunday's tie. Currently sitting at the top of the Genero Adran South as they look to bounce back into the Adran Premier at the first attempt, Ponty are certainly enjoying better league form than the hosts. However, Aber will take confidence from their cup journey so far with victories against CPD Rhyl 1879, and NFA in the previous rounds, both by an 8-0 scoreline.
